Privacy Policy — Blockers for Jira

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Blockers for Jira ("Blockers", "the app", "we") is a Forge app that runs entirely on Atlassian's own infrastructure. This policy explains what data the app touches and how it is handled. In short: the app reads only the Jira data it needs to show you what is blocking your work, stores nothing outside Atlassian, and shares nothing with anyone.

What the app accesses

To show blockers, the app reads, from your own Jira site:

It accesses this only when you open the Blockers panel or the project "Blocked issues" page, using the read:jira-work permission you grant when you install it.

What the app does NOT do

Data storage and retention

The app keeps no database of your issues and holds no personal data. It reads your Jira data live, displays it to you, and retains nothing afterwards.

Your control

Uninstalling the app immediately ends its access to your Jira data. Because the app stores nothing externally, there is nothing left for us to delete.
